VIA LACTEA 5.12c 280m. CERRO BLANCO ( DURANGO )

Peñon Blanco is not the real name for the granite dome but most of the climbers know it for this name. Peñon Blanco is the name of the village down on the plain. Cerro Blanco is the name used by the people of this region in Durango.
This 300m granite wall had already 8 routes but in the center smooth wall had not and that's the point. We went there and found a small crack invisible from the base that brought us magically to the base of the spectacular black diedral with it's hard squeeze to offwidth at the end of it.
The climb has some of everything: slab, face climbing, cracks, offwidth and chimney .
